Best Hair Extensions

These extensions on the market today are by far the best 100% Human Remy Kind. I recently had a chance to get my hands on a sample pack from Malaysia Hair Imports and was delighted by the quality. The different textures, lustre and tangle free hair is truly amazing. The different types of hair are suitable for any type of extension, weave or hair style that you are trying to achieve.

I tried washing the hair and even colored it. I can honestly say that it was just as I expected and this hair will last a good 1-2 years with the proper care. I received samples of Malaysian Straight, Burmese Loose Wave and Cambodian Body wave in a presentation box. The shipping and service was efficient after placing my order online.

We can never be certain that companies sell what they claim so before committing to a larger order, I was grateful that the sample packs were more than expected. I give these guys 5 stars for sure and am planning to use them to jump start my own business they have the best hair extensions hands down!

Virgin Hair is hair that is in its natural state. No chemical changes, no color, has not been processed, and all cuticles* are intact.

Remy hair is considered to be the finest quality of human hair. The term “Remy” means all the hair cuticles are healthy, intact, and flow in the same direction from the root to the tip. The cuticle is the outer layer of the hair strand and the structure is similar to the overlapping of shingles on a rooftop. Remy hair is typically collected directly from a woman’s head, and as it is cut it is held in a ponytail to ensure no hair strands fall to the floor. Remy hair will also last longer than non-Remy hair. Therefore, it can be reused, flat ironed, and colored.

Each texture must be measured differently. The Braziilian hair extensions should be measured to the fall of the hair. Start 0 at the weft and measure to the ends of the bundle. The Brazilian Wavy and Brazilian Curly hair extensions must be measured by pulling the hair straight. Again, start 0 at the weft; pull the hair straight from the ends, and the length will be at the tips of the hair. Each bundle will not measure exact when it is still wrapped in its band, as tension can affect the fall of each strand.

Your new Hairutopia virgin hair extensions can be treated as if it is your own hair. You are able to use a thermal (hot) tool to straighten, curl, crimp, etc. Keep in mind the hair does not have all the nutrients that a strand growing from your scalp will. Heat damage can cause breakage and dryness. Therefore, it is imperative that you use a heat-protecting product, always co-wash your hair, and protect it during sleep hours.

Any chemical processes should be done by a professional or at least consulted by one. This purchase is an investment for you and chemically altering the hair can possibly damage it. Though, our virgin hair extensions can handle a coloring process very well, please be cautious. Once the hair is chemically altered incorrectly, the cuticle can become damaged and overexposed causing fraying, breakage, dryness, and tangling. This in turn will affect the overall look and feel of your hair. Chemical damage has no reverse button.

Minimally, no hair is absolutely perfect (Any company who states this phrase, as sales pitch is not being honest. Our company is an honest supplier). We have reinforced machine wefting, to minimize shedding to nearly none. You may see a few strands here or there, but nothing troubling. The most effective way to avoid shedding is by sealing the wefts.

Co-washing simply means conditioner washing. It is a key task in extending the life of your extensions and keeping them healthy. We recommend a co-wash once a week with moisturizing conditioner to ensure your hair gets the nutrients and moisture it needs. When you first receive your extensions it is important to co-wash the hair as it has been through HHC employee hands, manufacturers’ hands, packaging, etc. Shampooing the hair can strip the hair entirely too much. Always use WARM water, as hot water will overexpose the cuticle of the hair.

The key to determining how many bundles to purchase depends on the lengths you are wanting. The longer bundles have a shorter weft/track as the shorter bundles have longer wefts/tracks.

The amount of hair you will need will depend on how full you would like your hair and the length you desire. Here is a general rule we use:

12″ – 14″  2 Bundles

16″ – 22″  3 Bundles

24″ – 30″  4-5 BundlesS

oooo, if you’re like the majority of humans I know right now, you either (1) gave yourself a questionable at-home haircut while in quarantine, or (2) chopped off all of your hair as soon as salons opened back up. Either way, the end result—and question that’s been blowing up my phone—has been the same: “What are the best hair extensions!?” Because whether you’re regretting a too-short cut, or are suddenly itchin’ for some bangs but are too afraid to commit, oooor you just want to play around in the world of fake hair for a bit, extensions can be completely overwhelming to figure out.

But that’s where I come in. Because I’ve created the ultimate guide to the best hair extensions of 2020, so you can finally get the butt-length/baby bangs/curly shag/ponytail-whipping’ hair of your dreams. Keep reading to find a breakdown on every type of hair extension (like clip-ins, tape-ins, I-tips, and more), which hair brand is best for you, and how much looking really, really (really) goodwill actually cost you.

Honestly, there’s no single answer for this, because the best hair extensions for you, personally, “totally depend on your budget, your skill level, and the look you’re going for,” says Kat Lewis, hairstylist and head of education at Malaysia Hair Imports. If you want some really cheap $20 clip-in extensions that last one night, get some synthetic bundles from Amazon. But if you want high-quality, 100 percent REMY hair (more on WTF this is below) that you plan on wearing for months and months, go for a reputable, review-backed brand. Basically, just keep reading.
REMY hair is just a term for human hair that still has its cuticles intact (meaning it hasn’t been stripped by chemicals) and those cuticles are also facing the same way (like they do when they grow out of your head). Basically, if you chopped off a toddler’s hair (um, don’t tho?), they’d have REMY hair. “The top tier of hair extensions is 100 percent virgin REMY human hair, which means it’s never been dyed or processed, it still has its cuticles intact, and it actually comes from a real human,” says Lewis. “You’d be surprised how many packages that say ‘human hair’ are mostly synthetic and animal hair.” And guess what? That quality ain’t cheap.
“Listen, you get what you pay for,” says Lewis. “If you want permanent, butt-length Kim K. hair that’s also 100 percent REMY, you’re not going to find that for $50—you’re probably looking at $1,000 in hair and installation.” But that doesn’t mean you need thousands of dollars of hair. “If you always wear your hair in a ponytail, you may not need 10 packs of keratin-bonded hair for a ton of money—you might just want a ponytail extension that’s a tenth of the price,” she adds. “Which is why it’s so important to actually go to a salon that specializes in extensions and have them talk you through the best options for your lifestyle, budget, and hair type.”

Clip-ins: pre-clipped strips of extensions that snap onto sections of your own hair right at the root.

Tape-ins: pre-taped strips of extensions that are taped or glued along your roots by a stylist.

Sew-ins: also known as a weave, these extensions are sewn to your own braided-up hair with a needle and thread by a stylist.

Keratin extensions: tiny strands of extensions that are heated and bonded to tiny strands of your own hair with a keratin-based glue.

I-tips: strands of extensions that are crimped to strands of your own hair with a flattened microbead, without using any heat or glue.

Got it? Ish? Good. Now check out the best hair extensions of 2020, below.
